Eco insurance is on the rise. While consumers have many insurance companies to choose form, only few are starting to take their environmental performances seriously. Green insurance products are also being introduced, with a focus on car insurance where customers are rewarded for having a more environmental friendly car and carbon offsets.

	Aviva Car Insurance	Norwich Union UK presented an Aviva/Earthwatch international award for climate change research to Dr Chris Stevenson. This £6,000 award will allow Dr Stevenson to continue his work on Easter Island, where he is investigating whether prolonged climate change was the cause of societal demise over 300 years ago
