Live Green Today is a UK based website that aims to inspire and educate people about sustainability in order to help protect the environment. We provide an array of information for today's ecologically-minded consumers which includes tips on how to go green, the latest green news and information on cutting edge green companies.
We realise that recycling, reducing and reusing are better eco-options than purchasing a new item however, we also know there are times when buying a new makes more sense. We provide the consumer with greener choices.

Who are we?
We are a pair of ecologically-engaged guys that want to take green from 'cool' to the norm. The environment is important to us - we love the outdoors and travelling (flights are offset!) is a passion.
Why did we start Live Green Today?
Live Green Today was started with a mission to empower consumers to make environmentally-conscious decisions with every purchase. Most people have the general attitude that they alone, cannot make a difference. We want to change this attitude.
When we buy a product or service, we are casting our votes, saying that we agree with how the company operates and the products they produce. When we say 'yes', the company will in turn, produce more of that product. Live Green Today wants to champion greener products and put pressure on companies to enhance their environmental performances.
How are green companies and their products selected?
While we will never attest to providing the greenest option, we do provide information pertaining to products, services and companies that are greener choices. Each product, service and company we discuss is carefully chosen by through our own research.
What many UK consumers do not realise is that some of the companies they currently support, may provide greener choices that they are not aware of. Even on the high street!
Why do we have a section related to air travel, which is not a green method of travel?
Of course, taking the train or another method of transportation is greener than flying. We aim to provide information on airlines that are seriously aiming to lower that carbon footprint and are spending money to improve their fuel efficiencies. Carbon offsetting is easy and truly a must!
